Greg Maloney is a founding partner of BioApplied, a consulting organization specializing in the commercialization of sustainable products and materials in the bio-resource sector.  Greg serves as an advisor to several companies developing or deploying new cleantech products and technologies.  He works extensively in the field of nano-cellulose material technology development, building industrial partnerships and supporting joint ventures for industry leading enterprises. 

Greg has also been a part of the Nova Scotia Innovation Hub since inception.  A not-for-profit public-private partnership fostering the bioeconomy through agriculture, oceans, and forestry related industries.  He currently serves as strategic advisor and provides outreach, investment, and project management support.

Prior to BioApplied, Greg held executive level marketing, product development, and project management positions with Whirlpool Corporation, a global leader in the home appliance manufacturing industry, and Domtar Inc., a leading North American forest products company.

Greg is a graduate of King’s College, at Western University, and completed a management development program at Indiana University.
