Bioindustrial Innovation Canada Welcomes Keith Simmons

BIC welcomes Keith Simmons as a Junior Project Engineer-in-Training.


Keith holds a B.Eng. in chemical engineering and a M.Eng. in chemical and biochemical engineering, specializing in reaction and process systems, from Western University. During his studies he completed a co-op position giving him industrial experience including software programming, quality assurance and product tracking. Keith also has experience in the automotive industry as a manufacturing engineer for a local weatherstripping company.


“Residing in Sarnia-Lambton my whole life, I understand the importance that Bioindustrial Innovation Canada (BIC) brings to Sarnia-Lambton by being a recognized leader in the development of sustainable chemistry clusters across Canada,” says Keith. “I am excited to begin my engineering career with BIC and look forward to applying my academic background and industrial experience to support new projects.”


Sandy Marshall, BIC Executive Director is very pleased to have Keith join the BIC team.


“We are excited to have Keith join BIC,” stated Sandy. “BIC under COMM SCI, is bringing technical capability, advice and services to GreenMantra Technologies in Brantford as they continue to expand their production capacity and increase operational efficiency. Keith is an important part of supporting these project engineering activities.”
