SARNIA, ONTARIO - BIC welcomes Meg Scrimgeour as the Manager of Communications and Marketing. Meg holds a B.A. in Political Science and International Development Studies from Dalhousie University, with post-graduate credentials in Communications and Public Relations from Centennial College, and Internet Programming and Database Management from Lambton College. Meg brings her experience from working in similar roles with Lambton College and Bluewater Health where she supported the development of internal and external online training delivery for faculty, students, and employees at all levels. Additionally, Meg has experience in the entrepreneurship space where she has assisted businesses with website development and digital content creation to support the growth, marketing goals, and scalability of the respective organizations. The focus of Meg’s role will be to develop and implement communication, marketing and knowledge transfer strategies for BIC, and will establish objectives, plans and specific activities to be pursued in each area. Additionally, Meg will manage the BIC website and social media platforms, while also working to communicate with the media and targeted stakeholders to ensure the project technical knowledge is consumable by the target market.
